My first stab at a Tabata-styled exercise didn’t go quite as planned. I got through 8 sets of my first segment. Then two sets into my second my body just gave up. I had pushed myself to my limit. After a five or so minute break I resolved to do half the number of typical sets, just so I could complete the regiment.
I haven’t sweated that much due to a workout in a long time. I also don’t think it’s possible for me to do a full Tabata workout presently. It pushes me physically harder than I can withstand.
It definitely raised my testosterone levels. I could tell because afterwards I was trying to wipe the sweat off my glasses with a t-shirt and it just smudged up my lenses. I randomly got angry at this and threw the shirt across the room!
